CM Yogi Adityanath Assures Cow Rearing Assistance To Sitapur Woman, Orders Time-Bound Action On Grievances

During Janata Darshan in Lucknow, CM Yogi Adityanath directed officials to provide an abandoned cow and government scheme benefits to Sitapur resident Poonam Devi, who sought support to expand cow rearing. He also ordered an inquiry into a differently-abled person’s complaint of land encroachment and instructed officials to ensure quick resolution of public grievances.

Lucknow, August 24: Poonam Devi, a resident of Gurudev Nagar in Hargaon, Sitapur, met CM Yogi Adityanath during 'Janata Darshan' and expressed her desire to rear cows. Taking immediate cognizance of her request, CM directed the ACS Animal Husbandry to provide her with an abandoned cow and ensure that she receives the benefits of eligible government schemes. Meanwhile, a differently-abled person also complained of illegal encroachment on his land, following which CM directed officials to investigate the matter and ensure its resolution.

In her application to CM, Poonam Devi stated that she wanted to become self-reliant through cow rearing. She currently has five cows and sufficient space to accommodate more. She requested additional cows so she could sell milk and other dairy products and improve her family’s financial condition. Taking immediate action, CM directed ACS Animal Husbandry to provide her with an abandoned cow and ensure she receives financial assistance under Mukhyamantri Sahbhagita Yojna for cattle care.

During 'Janta Darshan', Chief Minister met people one by one, enquired about their well-being and listened to their problems. After reading Poonam’s application, he also encouraged her and said that government would provide her benefits under the applicable schemes. Chief Minister told Poonam to serve cows with devotion, as cows are revered as the abode of 33 crore deities. Sharing his experience with her, he said that if she served cows with sincerity and devotion, all obstacles and hardships would be overcome. Poonam expressed her gratitude to Chief Minister for helping fulfil her wish during the holy month of Shravan.

A differently-abled person who came to 'Janata Darshan' informed Chief Minister that someone had illegally occupied his land. Chief Minister directed officials to investigate the matter and provide all possible assistance to aggrieved person. In addition, CM Yogi directed officials to ensure the time-bound resolution of the grievances of people who had come from different districts of the state.
