Mumbai: Young Guns managed to down Alphonso Academy 3- 2 in a thrilling and engrossing Second Division encounter of the MDFA league, played at the St. avier’s ground, Parel.

Karan Durante, Rahul Lad and Samkit Shah fired a goal each for victors, who were leading 2- 0 at half- time.Prathamesh Mhatre and Aaron Moraes got the goals for the young academy boys, who put up a good strong fight.In a Third Division play- off match, John Ferreira slotted home the lone goal which enabled Shastr Nagar scrape to a narrow 1- 0 victory against Sports Gurukul.
