Former WWE wrestler and India’s heavyweight champion, The Great Khali, was seen at the MahaKumbh Mela 2025 in Prayagraj on Wednesday. Many sports personalities, including Mary Kom, Suresh Raina, Mohammed Kaif and many more have visited the event, now Khali too has now joined them. The grand festival has already attracted around 5 crore devotees this year.
A video posted by Khali on social media shows he was surrounded by fans who were eager to take photos with him. Despite the crowd, he remained calm and greeted everyone warmly. People were thrilled to see him at Mahakumbh mela. Since retiring from WWE, Khali has been active on Instagram, sharing glimpses of his life beyond wrestling.

The Great Khali’s WWE Career
Khali started his wrestling career in 2000 and made his WWE debut in 2006, making a huge impact by defeating The Undertaker on SmackDown. He became the first Indian-born WWE World Heavyweight Champion and had memorable rivalries with stars like Big Show and Triple H. His signature move, the Khali Vise Grip, made him a feared competitor.
In recognition of his contributions, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021. Later, he made a special appearance at WWE Superstar Spectacle 2023 in Hyderabad and hinted at a possible return to the ring.
