Tracknights Athletics Meet: Three-day Action Packed Event At Mumbai University Pavilion from January 24

The state-level athletics competition for young athletes will feature an impressive line-up of 81 events

Mumbai is set to host Tracknights Mumbai 2025, a state-level athletics competition for young athletes, from January 24 to 26 at the University Ground Pavilion, Marine Lines. Organised under the floodlights, this thrilling three-day event promises to showcase the extraordinary talent of boys and girls across Maharashtra, spanning age groups Under-8 to Under-18. The event will take place during the evenings on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, ensuring that working parents can witness their child’s race together.

81 Events of High-Octane Action

Tracknights will feature an impressive line-up of 81 events, offering a platform for athletes to compete across diverse disciplines. The event breakdown includes:

34 -Individual Track Events 12- Long Jumps

10- Shot Puts 4 Discus Throws 8 -High Jumps

4-Javelin Throws 9 -Team Relays

Participants will represent their schools and clubs, competing for glory against the best talent from across the state.

"Tracknights aims to deliver a world-class experience with races timed using the latest electronic timing devices, ensuring precision and fairness. Real-time results will be displayed on a large LED screen, keeping the audience engaged and athletes informed," the organisers said in a press release.

The champions of Tracknights won’t just take home memories—they’ll be awarded cash prizes, medals, and certificates for their outstanding performances.

Special accolades include:

• Individual Championship Trophy for the best performer in each age group (both boys and girls).

• Team Championship for schools or clubs with the highest collective score.

• Best Athlete Award for the most outstanding boy and girl of the competition.
