The 1st Maharashtra State Ranking Table Tennis Tournament 2025, organized by Airoli Sports Association, began on 6th July at Airoli, and is set to run till 10th July.
Thrilling Performances Light Up the Table Tennis ArenaIn. Match 1, Naisha delivered a dominant performance against Ira, winning in straight sets with scores of 11–3, 11–4, and 11–3 to seal a convincing 3-0 victory.
Match 2 featured an intense four-set clash between Prisha (TST) and Adhvika (THN). After dropping the first set 9–11, Prisha made a strong comeback, winning the next three sets 11–5, 11–4, and 11–5 to emerge victorious with a 3-1 win.
In Match 3, Myraa maintained complete control over the game against Mahika, winning all three sets comfortably at 11–6, 11–4, and 11–5 to secure a clean sweep.
Match 4 was a thriller between Sara and Spruha. Sara started strong with an 11–5 win, but Spruha bounced back in the second set. However, Sara held her nerve in the next two closely contested sets, winning 14–12 and 11–8 to take the match 3-1.
The day concluded with Match 5, where Ayush faced Aaradhya. Ayush claimed the first two sets 11–8 and 11–6, dropped the third 8–11, but bounced back in the fourth set with an 11–7 win to seal the match 3-1.
The matches not only highlighted competitive spirit but also brought attention to the growing talent pool in the sport.
