Bombay Scottish’s twin Deshwal sisters Saani and Anvi brought healthy rivalry to the swimming pool to become the cynosure of all eyes at the annual GMAAA Inter-school and junior colleges Swimming championships, organized at the Borivali’s Mandpeshwar Civic Federation swimming pool over the weekend.

Saani set a new mark in 100m individual medley, beating Anvi to second place. However, Anvi took a sweet revenge as she claimed gold in the 50m backstroke, pipping Saani at the post. Anvi won the overall U-15 girls championship with consistent shows across events.
