Mumbai: Two workers fell down in 24 feet deep ring well while doing plumbing work in Versova and died on the spot on Wednesday. The 40-year-old Nafova Samsun Timoppa was doing plumbing work along with a 35-year-old co-worker at 4.4 feet diameter ring well on contract basis. But they some-how slipped and fell down. They were immediately rushed to nearby hospital, where the doctors declared them brou-ght dead. Police said that contr-act was given by Sunil Karekar, who got the work to clean the ring well. After getting his work done, Karekar asked Timoppa to do plumbing work in the ring well on April 28. The Senior PI of Versova police station Kiran Kale said, “Karekar has gone underground after the tragic death of two labourers.” Accidental Death Report has been filed in Versova police.
