It took around half an hour for traffic police to clear the road for traffic along the Sion-Panvel highway in Nerul after three vehicles going towards Mumbai dashed in a row on Monday afternoon.
While no one was reported injured, the minor accident led to a traffic jam. Around 3.30 pm, one car hit another moving ahead due to the wet road.
A traffic police official informed that the first car applied a sudden break after the car dashed from behind. "The car coming from hit the second car," said a traffic official. He added that the incident took place at the LP flyover in Nerul. However, after half an hour, the road was cleared for traffic.
