Navi Mumbai: Four labourers killed in incident at construction site in Taloja

A case is being registered against the contractor in Taloja police station.

Four labourers were killed in an accident at the construction site of CIDCO's Housing project in Taloja phase 2 on Tuesday evening, said police.

A case of negligence is being registered against the contractor in Taloja police station.

According to Taloja police, the incident took place between 5.30 pm and 6 pm.

An on-duty police official from Taloja police station informed that at present, a team of police officials are at the hospital and once the hospital procedure will complete, an FIR will be registered.

However, he confirmed that four labourers died at the construction site. The construction site is located at sector 36 in Taloja Phase 2.

It was learned that all the four workers were from the Latur district in Maharashtra.
