Traffic was moving at a snail’s pace at major roads in the city after heavy rains lashed the city for the second consecutive day on Saturday.

Western Express Highway (WEH), Eastern Express Highway (EEH) and link road witnessed major water-logging.

The official said WEH was badly affected. “Since it was Saturday, there was not much traffic, but visibility was low, affecting vehicular movement,” the official said.

The stretch between Goregaon and Khar witnessed water-logging and potholes on this stretch slowed down the movement of traffic. Meanwhile, on the EEH, the stretch between Sion and Ghatkopar was severely affected.
