Mumbai: Mentally disturbed woman takes own life in Bhandup

A 38-year-old woman died by committing suicide at a high rise building in Bhandup on Friday morning. The police allegedly said the woman had issues related to mental health since the last five years which may have triggered the suicide.

The police said the woman is identified as Rupali Nandvilkar, 38, a resident of Micro Srishti apartment in Bhandup, used to stay with her husband and two kids.

The police said the incident took place on Friday morning at around 9:45 am.

Sham Shinde, senior police inspector, Bhandup police station confirmed the incident and said that an accidental death report been registered.
