COVID-19: Mumbai reports 961 cases, 27 deaths on June 3
With the addition of 961 new COVID-19 cases on June 3, Mumbai's infection tally rose to 7,08,968. Now, there are 16,612 active cases in the city.
Mumbai reported 27 deaths due to coronavirus on Thursday which pushed its fatality count to 14,938 as per data released by the city's civic body. 897 COVID-19 patients recovered and were discharged on Thursday taking the recovery count to 6,75,193.
On Thursday, 24,667 tests were conducted, as compared to 37,607 on May 1. May 17 had reported the lowest count rate with just 17,640 tests.

Maharashtra sees marginal rise in daily Covid cases
There was a marginal rise in the daily Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra on Thursday with the state reporting 15,229 new infections and 307 Covid-19 deaths in the last 24 hours, pushing its total cases to 57,91,413 and deaths at 97,394 till now.
Meanwhile, the recovery rate has touched 94.73 per cent, with 54,86,206 patients recovered since the pandemic outbreak.
