Aurangabad : In what can be termed as mother of all disgraceful incidents, the city police have arrested a 46-year-old man for sexually assaulting his two daughters, both minor, for last seven years. The mean fellow didn’t stop at that, he also captured those nasty acts in his mobile phone camera.
According to police inspector, Nagnath Kode, one Rakesh (the name changed) works as an operator in a reputed company and resides in old Aurangabad. He got married in 1993 and since then started torturing his wife both mentally and physically for not getting a dowry to his satisfaction. Meanwhile, he fathered two daughters.
Around seven years ago, on that black day, when his wife was out of house, he threatened and abused his elder daughter when she was just 14. The mean fellow repeatedly committed the heinous act and worse even captured those ugly scenes in a video camera. He also subjected his younger daughter to this inhuman act when she turned 14 and continued it for years. The terribly frightened girls had no choice but to tolerate the brute in their father. He used to give sedatives to his wife before abusing the girls.
In the meanwhile, the girls conceived but he got the pregnancy aborted. Fed up with the repeated nightmarish experiences, the girls mustered courage and narrated the tragedy to their mother, after which she deserted him. Nevertheless, Rakesh continued with his wicked act. Finally, the mother approached Parbhani police station and lodged a complaint.
The case was registered at and transferred to the City Chowk police station of Aurangabad. Now it has been transferred to the Crime Branch. The fellow was produced before a local magistrate, who granted him police custody till Monday.
