Bhayandar: In yet another daring crime reported from Bhayandar, robbers broke into an electronic shop and decamped with expensive mobile phones and laptops worth more than Rs 3.20 lakh during the wee hours on  Friday. Interestingly the miscreants gained access into the shop by breaking open the shutter with the help of gas cutting tools.

According to the police, the break-in was reported from Bhavaini Electronics – a mobile and laptop outlet in KashiBhuvan on the main Balaram Patil Road in Bhayandar (east).  Based on the complaint filed by the shop owner, the Navghar police has registered a case under sections 380 and 457 of the IPC against unidentified thieves.

The investigating team is searching for clues by going through footages captured by CCTV cameras in the vicinity of the crime scene and the possible getaway routes.  The IMEI number of all stolen mobile phones had been taken into account so that the cops come to know about any stolen phone being used.
