The popularity of the appealing Ganesh idols crafted by sculptors Sumit Shetty and Ketaki Shetty has traversed the seven seas. A total of one thousand five hundred idols have been flown to Dubai, Thailand, Kenya, Germany, Malaysia, South Africa, and London.
Sumit Shetty was unemployed during the Corona period. As a result, his family encountered hunger, but Sumit, supported by his wife and friends, began a business creating and selling Ganesh idols alongside his wife and friends.

To accomplish this, he sourced the raw materials for Ganesh idols from Pen and began crafting different styles of idols. He promoted the idols created on social media and garnered an immense reaction, according to reports by Saamana.
The business of Ganesh idols has created job opportunities. Given that the idols we produced are sought after by overseas markets, it feels like we have surmounted a hurdle.

The Shetty duo expressed that Ganpati Bappa has eliminated the hindrance of joblessness from our lives. They mentioned that the factory which initially produced 60 Ganpati idols in Shahapur has now advanced to creating 9 to 10 thousand Ganesh idols.
The idols vary in size from six inches to four feet and are available for purchase, with prices ranging from Rs 1200 to Rs 21 thousand. The need for these Ganesh idols has risen from Gujarat, Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Indore, Thane, Kalyan, Palghar, Pune. A factory for producing Ganpati Bappa idols has been established in Chembur, and 21 jobless youths have been given employment there
