Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Tuesday, September 1, visited senior social worker Anna Hazare at Bombay hospital where he is undergoing treatment due to ill health.
During the visit, Fadnavis inquired about Hazare’s health and extended his best wishes for his speedy recovery. The Chief Minister also conveyed his heartfelt wishes to the veteran social worker, saying, “Anna, may you live a hundred years.”
During their meeting, Fadnavis also informed Hazare that the Maharashtra Cabinet had approved the revised cost of the Kukdi Irrigation Project at its meeting earlier in the day.
The Chief Minister expressed his happiness and satisfaction over the approval and shared the development with Hazare during his hospital visit.
Hazare, a prominent social worker from Maharashtra, has been undergoing medical treatment at Bombay hospital. Fadnavis’s visit came as he sought to personally convey his wishes for Hazare’s recovery while also updating him on the government’s decision regarding the irrigation project.
