Mumbai: Commuters on both the Central and Western Railway (WR) had to deal with delayed trains on Tuesday. The train on WR was stuck between Mahim and Matunga after the motor of the train had a pressure issue between Virar to Churchgate. The train was stuck on tracks from 9:15 am to 9:30 am eventually disrupting the frequency of the trains throughout the day. Later during the day the services on CR were disrupted after an overhead wire snapped at Thane. The fast corridor at Thane was severely affected and the trains had to be diverted on the slow line causing the delay. Several commuters were stuck in the train for about 30 minutes and following the incident the trains were running with a delay of 15 to 20 minutes.
