Mumbai : The Central Railway will operate a mega block on Main and Harbour lines on Sunday to carry out maintenance work. As a result, alow services leaving Matunga from 10.04am to 4.44pm will be diverted on to the down fast line between Matunga and Mulund stations. These trains will halt at Sion, Kurla, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Bhandup and Mulund stations and will then be re-diverted on to the down slow line from Mulund.
Meanwhile, up slow services leaving Thane from 9.58am to 3.55pm will be diverted on to the up fast line between Mulund and Matunga stations halting at Mulund, Bhandup, Vikhroli, Ghatkopar, Kurla and Sion stations and will be re-diverted on to the up slow line from Matunga. Further, all slow services arriving and leaving CST between 10am and 6pm will arrive at their destination 10 minutes behind schedule.
There will also be mega block on Kurla-Vashi up and down Harbour lines from 11am to 3pm. Due to this, down Harbour line services to Panvel/Belapur/Vashi leaving from CST from 10.23am to 3.01pm and up Harbour line services for CST leaving Panvel/Belapur/Vashi from 10.20am to 3.04pm will remain suspended. Special trains will be run on CST-Kurla and Vashi-Panvel sections during the block period. Harbour line passengers are permitted to travel via trans-harbour/Main line from 10am to 4pm.
