While people were still getting over the Delhi’s Burari case, where 11 people were found dead by hanging themselves, another such incident came to light in Mumbai. In a similar pattern, a 14-year-old girl from Bhoiwada area in Mumbai allegedly committed suicide while attempting astral travel.

According to Zee News, 14-year-old Shravanani was attempting astral travelling by watching YouTube videos. Girl’s parents told the cops that she was continuously watching videos related to astral travelling on YouTube for the past few days.

Astral travel means a wilful out-of-body experience (OBE) that assumes the existence of a soul or consciousness called an “astral body” that is separate from the physical body and capable of travelling outside it throughout the universe. In order to experience the same, the 14-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide. The police have found some videos related to Astral Travel on the girl’s phone. The cops have registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) and are currently investigating the case.
