Indore : Five government-run temples at each tehsil in the district will be renovated through public participation, said State Revenue Minister Rampal Singh here on Monday. He was speaking at a meeting of revenue department officials at Residency Kothi here on Monday.
The meeting was also attended by Mayor Malini Gaud, MLA Mahendra Hardia, IMC Speaker Ajay Singh Narooka and additional collector Dilip Kumar. Singh reviewed revenue cases and directed officials to resolve issues related to undisputed transfer cases and demarcation etc at the earliest.
He also directed officials to launch a special drive for within the district and asked them to ensure that no case of land transfer remains pending. He also directed the officials to distribute family aid to needy families within 24 hours.
Creating land bank, strengthening the communication network and restoration of government run temples with public participation were some of the other items on the agenda. Cases related to property distribution and transfers were to be dealt with within legal framework and timeframe, the minister told revenue officers.
