Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Indore’s Devi Ahilyabai Holkar International Airport ranked second in the country for facilities in the last quarter of 2024. Trichy Airport ranks higher than Indore.

The airport improved significantly from its poor performance in the first quarter. In which, the airport was ranked 12th among India’s top 14 airports.

Now, only Trichy Airport ranks higher, with Indore improving its global ranking from 66th to 61st.

According to Airport Director V. K. Seth, the Airport Authority of India released the survey results for the fourth quarter (October, November, December) of 2024, where Indore received a score of 4.96 out of 5.

In comparison, the airport scored 4.91 in the previous quarter (July-September) and 4.66 in the April-June quarter.

Seth shared that the airport made significant improvements in the past six months, and Trichy, with a score of 4.97, remains the only airport ahead of Indore.

Slight Decline In Cleanliness

The survey covered 31 points, and the only slight decline in Indore’s score was in cleanliness and ambiance, which decreased by just 0.01%.

Indore Airport continued to perform well on the other points, and Seth is confident that in the first quarter of this year, they will once again be ranked number one in the country.
