Covid unlock in Ratlam: 27 shops sealed for violating unlock norms

Ratlam: Twenty-seven shops have been sealed for flouting corona and unlock norms in the first two days of unlock process which commenced from June 1 here.

A total of of Rs.31,100 was collected from 311 people for not wearing masks.

While Rs 57,4000 were collected as fine from 59 shopkeepers for violating Covid norms during first two days of unlock.

On Thursday, opening of shops in left-right pattern came into effect.

Cops are keeping tabs on the people through over 250 CCTVs installed in the town. The Control Room is sharing videos and photographs of the corona norm violators for futher actions.

Collector Kumar Purushottam said that since the positivity rate has gone down below 5 per cent hence further relaxation of opening the shops on alternate days has been given from Thursday.

Timings of opening the shops will be from 7 am to 5 pm till further orders, he added.

Shops will be allowed to remain open on alternate days from Monday to Friday in a week. From Saturday evening corona curfew will become effective which shall remain effective till 6 am of Monday.
