Badaun (UP): Samajwadi Party National General Secretary Ram Gopal Yadav today said that his party would support the GST Bill when it is tabled in Parliament. “We will not oppose GST Bill. Our suggestions on it have been accepted by the Centre,” Yadav told reporters here. On the Allahabad high court order asking officials and politicians to send their kids to government primary schools, Yadav said that he was not in favour of it as he feels that it was fundamental rights of a child to study wherever he wanted.

“The court’s intention must be that the condition of these schools should improve. Ram Manohar Lohiaji also used to say that when DM’s son study in government school, he would feel the ground reality,” Yadav said. On Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s announcement of a Rs 1.25 lakh crore package for Bihar and the achievements of his recent foreign visit, Yadav said that “Modi is used to exaggerate (things). It is his habit and it will not improve anything,” he said.
