Rajasthan: Lady Police Officer Lodges Station Diary Report Against State Minister Kirori Lal Meena

As per reports the incident happened on Tuesday night when CI Kavita Sharma reached at the residence of one of the candidates of Sub Inspector recruitment who are demanding to cancel this recruitment.

A lady police officer of Jaipur has lodged a Roznamcha (station diary) report mentioning senior minister of Rajasthan Kirori Lal Meena.

The Circle Inspector Kavita Sharma posted in Mahesh Nagar police station of Jaipur in her station diary report has said that on the instructions of senior officers she had gone to talk to the candidates of Sub Inspector recruitment.

Minister Kirodilal Meena also reached the spot and said, “this is my man. Why have you come here? I will file a case against you.” After informing the officials about the situation, the police team started returning from there. In the meantime the persons accompanying the minister pulled down a girl sitting in the police vehicle and took her along. The people accompanying the minister also made a video of it, which was later shared on social media.

As per reports the incident happened on Tuesday night when CI Kavita Sharma reached at the residence of one of the candidates of Sub Inspector recruitment who are demanding to cancel this recruitment.

On getting information Minister Kirori Lal Meena who is supporting this demand reached the spot and accused the police officer of forcibly entering a house and making a girl sit in a police vehicle. He also accused the police of harassing the families and parents of the candidates demanding cancellation of the SI recruitment exam.

Meanwhile, Kirodilal Meena met Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham and informed him about the entire matter and demanded action against the lady officer.

The issue has become critical for the state government who is going to host investment summit from the coming Monday as it is fearing of protest by the candidates during the summit.

Notably, the SI recruitment exam of 2021 is already under scanner due to mass irregularities and the Special Operation Group of Rajasthan police have made several arrests in the case.

Based on the police investigation Minister Kirori Lal Meena is supporting the demand of cancellation of this recruitment and a committee of ministers has been formed to examine this demand.
