Noida: In the latest update in the Lamborghini accident case, the accused driver, Deepak, has been granted bail by the District Court, Surajpur, in the matter.

Two people were injured after they were hit by the Lamborghini car that was being driven by accused Deepak near Sector 94 roundabout in Sector-126 police station area yesterday.

What Had Happened?

A Lamborghini had hit two pedestrians on a footpath adjacent to an under-construction building in Noida's sector 94 on Sunday evening. Reportedly, the Lamborghini involved in the accident belongs to 24-year-old YouTuber Mridul Tiwari.

The injured were reportedly from Chhattisgarh. They were rushed to a nearby hospital and they are reported to be out of danger. They have suffered a fracture in their legs, police said.

Soon after the accident, a purported video surfaced online showing that after the accident, a man was heard asking the accused if he knew how many people died here. To this, the accused asked the locals "koi mar gaya idhar? (did anyone die here?)" and came out of the car.

Mridul reportedly wanted to sell the car and had spoken to luxury car dealer Deepak. Deepak had taken the car for a test-drive and lost control, hitting two labourers sitting on the roadside.

The police arrested Deepak on the spot and seized the car. During interrogation, he claimed the accident occurred due to a fault in the car.
