The National Security Guard (NSG) found nothing suspicious onboard the Moscow-Goa chartered flight, which was diverted to Gujarat's Jamnagar after Goa ATC followed an alleged bomb threat, Jamnagar Airport director informed on Tuesday.
According to the airport director, the flight will depart from Jamnagar to Goa between 10.30 a.m. and 11 a.m.
"NSG has not found anything suspicious. The flight is expected to leave from Jamnagar to Goa, sometime between 10.30 am and 11 am. All the cabin baggage has been thoroughly checked," said Jamnagar Airport Director.
Jamnagar District Collector's statement
Jamnagar District Collector Saurabh Parghi told ANI, "An intensive search was carried out by security agencies from 9.50 pm (on Monday) till the morning hours." He said security agencies were also verifying the passenger details. "Checking is done through routine scanning of passengers. Non-stop work has been on for nine hours. The baggage was checked and details verified," he said.
Russian Embassy released a statement
After a bomb threat on Monday caused an aircraft from Moscow to Goa to be diverted to Gujarat, the Russian Embassy has released a statement. The embassy said that the Indian government had informed them of the supposed bomb fear on board an Azur Air flight travelling from Moscow to Goa.

Everyone on board is safe
"The Embassy was alerted by Indian authorities about an alleged bomb scare on an Azur Air flight from Moscow to Goa. The aircraft made an emergency landing at Jamnagar Indian Air Force Base. Everyone on board is safe; authorities are conducting an inspection of the aircraft," the Russian Embassy said in a statement.

Meanwhile, security forces carried out an intensive search of the passengers onboard the Moscow-Goa chartered flight. "NSG has not found anything suspicious. The flight is expected to leave from Jamnagar to Goa, sometime between 10.30 am and 11 am. All the cabin baggage has been thoroughly checked," said Jamnagar Airport Director.

All officials were present at Jamnagar Airport
The entire administration of Jamnagar is at the airport. Along with CISF officials, the collector and SP have reached the airport. Jamnagar Airport Director has informed that all 244 passengers on board the chartered Moscow-Goa flight deboarded at the airport after the aircraft landed safely at the airport at around 9.49 p.m.
On the situation with the flight Moscow-Goa, the Russian embassy was alerted by the Indian authorities about the alleged bomb scare.
"We received information about a bomb threat in the Moscow-Goa flight, which was diverted. The flight had 236 passengers and 8 crew members. All passengers were escorted out safely and are in the airport lounge. Bomb detection and disposal work are underway," the Jamnagar district collector had said earlier.

It has been a busy week for the aviation industry with instances of indecent behaviour by passengers, cover-up by airlines and emergency landings.
Earlier in the day, a Vistara plane en route to Bhubaneswar returned to the national capital on Monday after experiencing a hydraulic system issue and aviation watchdog DGCA is probing the incident.
The sources said the aircraft, which had around 140 passengers onboard, landed safely at Delhi airport.
Vistara's A320 aircraft VT-TNV operating the flight UK-781 from Delhi to Bhubaneswar was involved in an air turnback due to a hydraulic system issue. The plane made a priority landing at Delhi airport, a senior DGCA official said.
