Labourer dies in stone query

Srinagar: A 45-year-old labourer died after being hit by a shooting stone in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district, police said today.

Ghulam Ahmad Malla was critically injured after he was hit by a shooting stone while working in a stone query near his home in Manasbal, a police spokesman said.

He said Malla was shifted to SKIMS Soura here where he succumbed to the injuries.

Police has registered a case, the spokesman said.
