New Delhi: The government will convene a special assembly session at the Indira Gandhi Stadium here to pass the Jan Lokpal Bill Feb 16, Education Minister Manish Sisodia said Friday.

“In the special assembly session at Indira Gandhi Stadium, the government will pass the Jan Lokpal Bill Feb 16,” Sisodia told the media after a cabinet meeting.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal had announced that the bill would be passed at Ramlila Maidan – a sprawling ground in the heart of the city.

“Today (Friday) the bill was placed before the cabinet and it will be discussed Monday,” added Sisodia.

He also said the assembly session would be held from Feb 13 to 16.
