Raipur: Prabal Pratap Singh Judeo, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and head of the Akhil Bharatiya Ghar Wapsi Abhiyan, has called for a strong and effective anti-conversion law in Chhattisgarh to protect Hindus.
Speaking at a press conference in Raipur, he expressed concern over the alarming rate of religious conversions that could soon diminish Hindus from a majority to a minority status.
He characterized missionaries as a "religious mafia" and emphasized the need for legislation to halt mass religious conversions, particularly in tribal, Scheduled Caste, and OBC dominated areas, where he claims many are being misled into Christianity by "Crypto Christians."
Crypto Christians are the sympathisers of Missionary Mafia, who are either converts, or pseudo Hindu ( the men who pose themselves as Hindus but from inside are involved in fuelling religious conversions.

Judeo argued for the delisting of converted tribals from reservation benefits, insisting that these advantages should only be extended to genuine tribals.
He urged Hindu youth to recognize the challenges they face and highlighted his father's legacy in promoting the Ghar Wapsi Abhiyan, which has reportedly helped over 17,000 families return to Hinduism.
At a recent “Virat Hindu Sammelan” in Sakti, 651 families reverted to Sanatan Dharma.
Judeo warned that Christian missionaries have been undermining the region's demographics for years, leading to cultural erosion among the tribal communities.
He noted that many poor individuals are converting to Christianity out of greed, which threatens the identity and heritage of the tribal population.
He called for collective responsibility to protect these communities and provide opportunities for those who wish to return to their original faith.
