Bengaluru Weather Forecast: IMD Predicts Light To Moderate Rainfall In Some Regions Of Karnataka On Sunday

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) predicted light to moderate rainfall with cloudy skies on August 3, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures are set to range around 20 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively.

Bengaluru: The residents of the city have been enjoying cool weather over the past few days. The city is set to experience light to moderate rainfall on August 3, 2025. Cloudy skies are also expected in the city, which is expected to remain the same throughout the day. The city woke up at 06: 06 AM.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 20 degrees Celsius and 27 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06: 46 PM. The weather department said that rain and cloudy skies will keep the temperatures mild and pleasant in the city.

KSNDMC shared a weather report on X

Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC) shared a weather report on X (formerly Twitter) for seven days and wrote,

"Scattered moderate rain and isolated heavy rain are likely in coastal and Malnad districts along with strong winds across the state, with the heaviest rain from August 5. Scattered light to moderate rain in interior districts." According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the rainfall is likely to be accompanied by strong surface winds, thunderstorms, and lightning. Scattered moderate rainfall is predicted in isolated areas of North Interior Karnataka and coastal regions. The rainfall is likely to be accompanied by strong surface winds.

IMD advisory

Humidity levels may hover around 93 per cent, making the air feel damp, especially after rainfall. If you plan to step out, it's advisable to carry an umbrella or raincoat, as sudden rain showers are common. The weather department also advised residents and fishermen to avoid venturing into the sea or water bodies.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 20 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively. Cloudy skies are predicted with heavy rainfall on Monday.
