10th std student shot dead by classmate

Meerut:  A 15-year-old student was shot dead by his 16-year-old classmate at a coaching centre in Mawana town area in the district, police said on Friday. The deceased has been identified as Shadab, a resident of Kheri Manihar village. The incident took place last evening when Shadab was standing along with other students in the premises of the coaching centre at Kila Road. Police said that the teenager succumbed to his injuries on his way to hospital. On a complaint filed by Shadab’s father, a case of murder has been lodged against the accused in connection with the incident.
