Berlin-based German-Italian techno DJ Stella Bossi is in India, and on Friday night she had a gig in Mumbai. However, in her recent Instagram video, the DJ has claimed that after 50 minutes of her gig, the Mumbai Police came and stopped it. She was performing at Antisocial.
In the video, we can see Stella enjoying her gig, and even the audience at the venue is having a great time. But later, a cop comes on stage and tells her to stop. While Stella looks surprised, there's a guy who tells her, "We need to wait for a while..."
However, it looks like Stella couldn't continue her gig, as she captioned the video as, "POV: You‘re 50 minutes into your set in Mumbai and the police finally found the OFF button 🇮🇳🚨🥴 Sorry guys we tried everything 🖤 Coming back soon (sic)."
It's not yet known what time Stella was told to stop her gig, but some netizens in the comments have hinted it was before 9:30 pm.

Reacting to the video, a Hungarian DJ named Jay Lumen commented, "It's usual there. 😁 Last time 2 of my 4 shows were stopped by police and than restarted and stopped again. I hope the party people and promoters too will get more freedom there in the near future (sic)."
An event management company wrote, "A dark time for the Indian techno scene in Mumbai. After multiple cancellations and venue changes, the show finally happened at AntiSocial, only to be shut down early around 7:30–8 PM instead of 9:30. We call ourselves the land of Atithi Devo Bhava, yet this is how we treated an international artist. Feel terrible for the promoter who had to go through such a horrible situation. This is not what our scene should stand for (sic)."
