The track is composed by AR Rahman, and the Hindi version of the song is sung by Nikhita Gandhi, Shuba, and Shashwat Singh. The song focuses on Trisha Krishnan, and it gives a hint that she is playing the role of a sugar baby to Kamal Haasan's character.

Trisha Krishnan On Working In Thug Life
While talking about the magic that Haasan and Mani Ratnam were creating on the sets, Trisha said, "I think that's something I knew when they announced the film, and I had not even signed it. So that's when I knew, wow, this is magic. And I was not even part of the film at that point in time."
"So all of us as actors, we were like, oh damn, we have to do some work here. We've got to stop staring at them. So it was magic," she added.

Directed by Mani Ratnam, Thug Life will release on June 5, 2025. It is a Tamil film, but will be dubbed and released in multiple languages, including Hindi. While it is expected that the movie will take a flying start at the box office in the Tamil language, it will be interesting to see what response it will get in Hindi.
