It also stars Silambarasan TR and Trisha, and while it's a Tamil film, the movie will be dubbed and released in multiple languages including Hindi. On Tuesday, the team of Thug Life attended a press conference in Mumbai and spoke about the film.

While talking about the action in the movie, Haasan said, "What you see here is not an easy thing to do. We had a great stunt team and stunt directors. So, we did it all without any injury which is a great thing. What we owe to fellow human beings is that nobody should get hurt. In this film, nobody got hurt, and we were happy to have finished such difficult action scenes. This film is not all about that (action), there's a lot of emotions in it."

Kamal Haasan Reveals If He Feels Pressure About Box Office

During the press conference, when he was asked about box office pressure, the veteran actor said, "Box office numbers are not what we're looking at, but we have to look at a break-even because it is a business. He (Ratnam) is from a business school, and I am from this business; I grew up in this business. We can't disrespect the business and do business with the business."

Kamal Haasan On Being Called The OG Pan-India Star

Nowadays, when an actor's Hindi dubbed film does well at the box office, he is called a pan-India star. But Haasan's many films over the years have been dubbed and released in Hindi, and they have been doing well at the box office.

While talking about being called the original pan-India star, the veteran actor said, "That's not all my doing. Most of it is your (fans) doing and Mr. K Balachander (filmmaker who launched him in the lead role). He picked me up and brought me here, and they (fans) made it work."
