Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan worked together in Nayakan, which was released in 1987. Now, after 38 years, the two have teamed up for a film titled Thug Life. It also stars Silambarasan TR and Trisha, and while it's a Tamil film, the movie will be dubbed and released in multiple languages including Hindi. The trailer of the film was launched in Chennai on Saturday with a lot of fanfare.

The female leads, like Trisha and Aishwarya Lekshmi, have not been given a good scope in the trailer. In fact, the makers have not included any scenes of Sanya Malhotra who is a well-known face for the Hindi audience.
It is an AR Rahman musical, and the expectations are quite high from the songs and the background score. Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman have always created magic when it comes to music. So, let's wait and watch what Thug Life has to offer.
