Bollywood actor Himansh Kohli, famous for his role in the film, Yaariyaan, revealed on Tuesday that he has been hospitalised for the past few days. Calling it one of the toughest phases of his life, he stated that his health had suddenly reached an "alarming stage", which made him understand the value of life.
Himansh took to his Instagram handle to share a video from the hospital bed. In the video, he can be seen looking weak and exhausted, with IV nodes attached to his wrist. "I have been missing for the past 10-15 days. There were certain health concerns, and these things are unexpected. The last 15 days have been extremely difficult, but yet strong. Many people, my close ones, they supported me. When I was mentally weak, when I was breaking down, they stood by me -- my family and friends. I want to thank each one of you," the actor said.
The 35-year-old added, "I am feeling better today. I didn't share this news earlier because I didn't want to portray myself as weak and helpless."
Himansh also thanked the doctors for taking care of him. However, he did not explicitly reveal what the "health concerns" were.
"I will bounce back soon. Thoda sa weak feel kar raha hoon. Jaldi recover karunga aapke pyaar aur duaaon se. I suddenly reached an alarming stage, and it made me realise that one should never take their health for granted," he added.
Along with the video, he wrote the caption, "The last 15 days were difficult and challenging with sudden health concerns, but my family and friends stood like a rock. They made sure I was okay, and whenever I broke down, they gave me strength, love, and care. Recovery has taught me to prioritise health, embrace clean living, let go of negativity, and trust in God’s plan. Baaki, like I said, aap sabke pyaar aur duaa se changa bhala ho jaunga (sic)."
It was only in November 2024 that Himansh had tied the knot with his longtime girlfriend Vini in an intimate ceremony in Delhi.
On the work front, Himansh will be seen next in Julia & Kaalia. The actor made his Bollywood debut with Yaariyaan alongside Rakul Preet Singh in the lead. It was directed by Divya Khosla Kumar.
