Actress Sai Tamhankar, who tied the knot in 2013 with producer Amey Gosavi and got divorce in 2015, recently revealed that after finalising their divorce in court, they had a party with 8-10 friends as they were both in a 'weird space.'

In an interview with Hauterrfly, Sai opened up about her experience of going to court to sign the divorce papers and said it is a 'very difference space.' She added, "The place is like a market where they shout both your names. And the shocking thing is that they addressed me through Sai Tamhankar Gosavi because that was apparently my name on the papers even though I hadn’t changed it after marriage."

Furthermore, she shared that after the divorce, they were in a weird space and wanted to relax, so they decided to go out for drinks.

Sai shared, "There, everyone started crying, some lovey-dovey talks happened, and some life advice was shared. A few close friends knew about it, so they called to check on us. One by one, people started calling, saying, 'Hi, how are you? Is everything fine? What’s going on?' As our friends kept calling, we told them where we were, and eventually, 8-10 people showed up. We drank, and we had a good time."

Despite being divorced, Sai revealed that she remains very good friends with her ex-husband, Amey, and they still meet from time to time.

On the work front, Sai Tamhankar was last seen in the 2024 Amazon Prime thriller Agni, which also starred Pratik Gandhi, Divyenndu, Jitendra Joshi, Saiyami Kher, and Kabir Shah, among others.
