Rani Mukerji has commenced shooting for her next, produced by husband Aditya Chopra, titled Mardaani 2. The film is a sequel to the 2014 release Mardaani. The makers released the first look from the film as the actress begins shooting today. The pictures shows Rani mid conversation in an intense getting ready to kick some a**.

Rani who was last seen in Hichkii has presented dazzling performances for films like Black, No One Killed Jessica. The actress is said to reprise her role as lady cop Shivani in part two as well. Rani will be seen as a Superintendent of Police who is struggling to pin down a 21 one year old ruthless villain.
Mardaani 2 is said to be directed by Gopi Puthran. There are also speculations that Chunky Panday’s nephew Ahaan Panday will join the films’ crew as assistant director.
