In a shocking event, Bigg Boss 11 fame and actress Bandgee Kallra revealed on Sunday that her house was looted and the burglars fled with "huge amount of cash" and other valuable personal items. She also claimed that no action was taken despite her complaint and accused the authorities of slacking at work.
Bandgee took to her Instagram stories to share photos of the broken locks of her door. "Came home yesterday to my house broken in by thefts and brutally destroyed from inside out… So many personal things, money etc is lost and because it was my sister’s wedding I had huge cash kept at home, my house camera with SD is stolen too and two gates were broken, not one and nobody has a clue! (sic)," she rued.
She went on to say, "Our system is so weak and lethargic that they are chilling and having dinner, instead of taking action. I am gonna make a video soon when I will be in the right headspace."
In another Instagram story, Bandgee stated that there was no progress in the case despite it being 30 hours to the theft. "I have never felt this helpless! The way the things are going or should I say not going at all since now I have clear doubts on their job ethics and authenticity. The steps being (not taken) so this matter gets flushed under the table is so clear (sic)," she ranted.
"I am highly disappointed in our system, I always knew it but now I am facing it and then people ask why you want to move out of India??? It's been almost 30 hours since I notified about the theft! (sic)," she added.
Bandgee has not shared any further updates about the investigation in the theft case.
For those unversed, Bandgee rose to fame after she participated in Bigg Boss 11, and her romance with co-contestant Puneesh Sharma had become the talk of the town back then. Even after the show ended, the two continued to be in a relationship. However, in July 2023, the two announced their breakup.
