Congratulations are in order as actor Vatsal Sheth confirmed that he is all set to welcome his second child with actress Ishita Dutta this July. On Valentine's Day, Ishita shared a post about their "hearts growing again", and fans wondered if the couple is expecting their second child.
Confirming the news, Vatsal told Hindustan Times that the pregnancy came as a surprise. "It came as a surprise, a very, very happy surprise. When Ishita told me about the pregnancy, I was like ‘Oh! Wow’. Samjh nahin aa raha tha. It was such big news for me as a father and once it registered, I was joyful," he gushed.
He went on to say that on the day Ishita broke the news, their 20-month old son Vaayu was "super cranky". "We did take time to let the news sink in before we decided to let the world know that the newest member of our family is due in July," he shared.
The Tarzan: The Wonder Car actor revealed that the two have decided once the second child is born, Vatsal will take care of their son Vaayu, while Ishita will look after the newborn.
Ishita and Vatsal tied knot in 2017. The couple fell in love during the shoot of a TV show, 'Rishton Ka Saudagar - Baazigar'. On July 19, 2023, the two welcomed their first child, a son, whom they named Vayu.
On the work front, Ishita was last seen in the thriller film 'Drishyam 2' alongside Ajay Devgn and Tabu. She is currently shooting for another project, Vatsal revealed, and said that she will wrap it up soon, now that the baby is on the way.
Vatsal, on the other hand, was last seen in the film 'Adipurush' alongside Prabhas, Saif Ali Khan and Kriti Sanon. The film tanked miserably at the box office and it was also bashed left, right and centre for the depiction of Ramayana.
