Khushi Kapoor is set to star in Loveyapa, which marks his first theatrical release with Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan in the lead. Recently, the actress revealed that she was mocked for her looks as a young girl and was constantly compared to sister Janhvi Kapoor and her late mother Sridevi. She also shared that nobody should be 'scrutinised' for doing skincare or getting fillers.

In an interview with Indian Express, Khushi called it a vicious cycle and shared, "When I was a young girl, I was made fun of how I looked. I didn’t look like my mother or sister. Your self-esteem takes a hit when you are a young child. I took a keen interest in vanity and to look a certain way and I don’t think that it is a bad thing, especially when I know these are the things people are pointing out."

The 24-year-old star shared that she has not undergone the "hundred things" people claim but believes it's simply a part of self-care.

"I am not saying that it is something that people should or shouldn’t do. I haven’t done the hundred things that people have said that. Skincare, fillers, I don’t think these are the things a person should be scrutinised for," she added.

Khushi said that if one is honest about whether they have undergone fillers or not, people won’t have an issue with it. She revealed being judged for her looks when she was young and even called certain names, but when she changed her appearance, she was criticised again.

Apart from Loveyapa, Khushi also has Nadaaniyan with Saif Ali Khan's son Ibrahim Ali Khan, which marks his Bollywood debut. The film will release directly on Netflix.
