This week's weather prediction shows a combination of rain and foggy weather. Starting February 5, fog will be the main feature of the forecast. Light fog and drizzle are expected on February 5, with slight fog anticipated on February 6 and 7. During this timeframe, temperatures will vary between 9°C and 25°C. This pattern persists on February 8 and 9, with thick fog anticipated and temperatures shifting from 9°C to 25°C.

Delhi is set to vote for its next government on February 5, and the weather department forecasts light rain and a cloudy sky in the morning.

This year, Delhi experienced its warmest January since 2019. The monthly average maximum temperature was 21.1 degrees Celsius, which is just above the long-term average of 20.1 degrees Celsius.

The IMD data indicated that nighttime temperatures were elevated compared to normal. Meteorologists indicated that the elevated temperatures in January resulted from the lack of vigorous western disturbances, which typically deliver rainfall and decrease the temperature.
