Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organization awards meritorious workers

Western Railway Women’s Welfare Organization under the leadership of Tanuja Kansal - President of WRWWO, felicitated 50 meritorious Group D employees of Western Railway who were adjudged to be awarded on the occasion of Labour Day. The employees were awarded with Merit Certificate and cash award of Rs 2000/- each.

According to Sumit Thakur- Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, employees working as general assistants (peons), safaiwalas, track maintainers, track women, pointsmen etc were awarded by WRWWO in appreciation of their exemplary work put in during the Covid pandemic.
