Stock market movers: Top 10 winners and losers on BSE, NSE on June 2

Sensex slipped 85 points on Wednesday, tracking losses in ITC, HDFC twins and Infosys amid a mixed trend in global markets.

The 30-share BSE index ended 85.40 points or 0.16 percent lower at 51,849.48, while the broader NSE Nifty inched up 1.35 points or 0.01 per cent to 15,576.20.

ITC was the top loser in the Sensex pack, shedding nearly 3 percent, followed by Tech Mahindra, Axis Bank, Asian Paints, TCS, HCL Tech, HDFC and Kotak Bank.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank, PowerGrid, Reliance Industries, Bajaj Auto and Maruti were among the gainers.

Sensex gainers

IndusInd Bank: The stock was the top winner of the Sensex pack. It touched an intra day high of Rs 1030 before closing at Rs 1027, up 17.25 points or 1.71 percent.

PowerGrid: The stock touched an intra day high of Rs 228 before closing at Rs 227.95, up 3.55 points or 1.58 percent.

Reliance: The stock was trading intra high at Rs 2209.90 before closing at Rs 2201.30, up 33.05 points or 1.52 percent.

Bajaj Auto: The stock was trading intra day high at Rs 4310 before closing at Rs 4299, up 59.80 points or 1.41 percent.

Maruti: The stock was trading intra day high at Rs 7198.90 before closing at Rs 7183.10, up 92.05 points or 1.30 percent.

Sensex losers

ITC: The stock was the top loser in the Sensex pack. It touched intra day low of Rs 208.70 before closing at Rs 209, down 6.20 points or (-)2.88 percent.

Tech Mahindra: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 994.10 before closing at Rs 1018, down 12.40 points or 1.20 percent.

Axis Bank: THe stock touched an intra day low of Rs 734.20 before closing at Rs 737.05, down 8.05 points or (1) 1.08 percent

Asian Paint: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 2877.40 before closing at Rs 2905.35, down 27.80 points or (-)0.95 percent.

Kotak Bank: The stock touched an intra day low of Rs 1770.10 before closing at Rs 1782.60, down 15.10 points or (-)0.84 percent.

Nifty50 gainers

UPL Limited: The top gainer in Nifty50. The stock touched an intra-day high of Rs 897.35 per piece before closing at Rs 838.50 per piece, 22.70 points up or 2.78 per cent.

Tata Steel: It touched an intraday high of Rs 1,210.95 to close at Rs 1,129.55, up 28.65 points or 2.60 percent.

Hindalco: The stock touched intraday high of Rs 434.15 to close at Rs 402.05, up 7.35 points or 1.86 percent.

JSW Steel: The stock touched an intraday high of Rs 763.95 before closing at Rs 707per piece, up 12.50 points or 1.80 percent.

Reliance Industries Limited: It touched an intra-day high of Rs 2,385.75 to close at Rs 2,207, up 38.10 points or 1.76 percent up.

Nifty50 losers

ITC: It is the top loser in the Nifty50. It touched an intra-day low of Rs 193.75 to close at Rs 209.05 per share, down 6.20 points or (-) 2.88 percent.

Tech Mahindra: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 927.45 per piece to close at Rs 1,017.80 per share, down 12.70 points or (-) 1.23 percent.

Axis Bank: It touched an intra-day low of Rs 670.65 per share to close at Rs 737.55, down by 7.60 points or (-) 1.02 percent.

Asian Paint: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 2,637.90 per share to close Rs 2,906 per share, down 25 points or (-) 0.85 percent.

HDFC: The stock touched an intra-day low of Rs 2,322.70 per share to close at Rs 2,562.30, down 18.45 points or (-) 0.71 percent.
