SpiceJet has announced to add 24 new flights in next 7-15 days. 16 will connect Mumbai, four will connect Delhi while the rest will connect the two metros with each other. The new flights from Mumbai to Jaipur, Patna, Bagdogra, Amritsar, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Kolkata and Mangaluru.

According to news, the new flights will be operated daily. “The industry is currently facing a severe shortage of capacity and SpiceJet remains committed to making all possible efforts to minimize passenger inconvenience,” said Ajay Singh, Chairman and Managing Director, SpiceJet said to Livemint.
SpiceJet shares rose as much as 15 per cent to the highest since February 2018 early on Thursday. The move came after one of India’s larger airline Jet Airways suspended all the flights due to cash strapped.
Talking more about SpiceJet, the company will start international flights to Hong Kong, Jeddah, Dubai, Colombo, Dhaka, Riyadh, Bangkok and Kathmandu from Mumbai effective May-end.
