Solatium granted

Chennai: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O Panneerselvam recently sanctioned a solatium of Rs 1 lakh each to the families of two men who were electrocuted to death in different incidents in the State last month. An official release said, Panneerselvam expressed deep grief over the loss of the two lives and conveyed his condolences to their bereaved family members. The release added that Palanisamy of Puliyampatti village in Erode district and Paramasivam of Tirupur had died of electrocution during the recent rains.
