New Delhi : FMCG firm Marico Ltd reported a 27.44 % increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 150.72 crore for the September quarter.
The company had reported a net profit of Rs 118.26 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago. Marico’s net sales stood at Rs 1,483.53 crore, up 3.80 as against net profit of Rs 1,429.14 crore in the same period in the previous year, the company said in a BSE filing. The company posted a 28 % increase in its consolidated net profit for the six months ended September 30 at Rs 388.55 crore as compared with Rs 303.54 crore for the same period last fiscal.
Net sales during the first half of the current fiscal was up 7.10 % to Rs 3,265.00 crore. Marico said its board has approved declaration of interim dividend of Rs 1.75 per share and issue of bonus shares in the ratio of 1:1. Shares of FMCG firm rose by 2.16 per cent to settle at Rs 399.25 on BSE.
