Well-known industrialist, Anant Bajaj, passed away on Friday. Anant, son of Bajaj Electricals Shekhar Bajaj, was 41 years of age and died after suffering from cardiac arrest on Friday. According to Business Today, Anant Bajaj died at around 6 pm in Mumbai, and the last rites will be performed at Chandanwadi crematorium near Marine Lines at around 10.30 am on Saturday.
Anant Bajaj was appointed the joint managing director of Bajaj Electricals in March 2012. He was appointed as the managing director of the organisation two months ago. He began his career as a project coordinator in Bajaj Electricals back in 1999. Anant was the member of the young Entrepreneur Wing of the Indian Merchant’s Chamber and also a member of the NGO Greenpeace.
