Patient Spotted Drinking Alcohol At Hospital
A similar incident was reported at Sagar District Hospital, where a video showing a patient drinking alcohol inside a ward went viral on social media.
The video reportedly surfaced around 2 pm on June 24 and showed a young man sitting under a hospital bed and consuming alcohol.
A woman who reportedly recorded the video could be heard saying in Hindi that the man was a patient and was drinking alcohol.
The footage also showed a family member trying to stop him, but he allegedly ignored the intervention and finished the drink.
Sources said hospital staff also tried to stop the patient, but he allegedly ignored their instructions and continued drinking alcohol inside the ward.
An earlier video of a middle-aged man consuming alcohol in the same ward had also gone viral, raising concerns about security and monitoring at the hospital.
