BHOPAL: Women are the god’s blessing for the humanity, it’s a pride and honour that women in huge numbers are joining police force, said DGP VK Singh while addressing the programme organised on the occasion of Women’s Day, here on Friday.
The DGP informed that the aggrieved women can approach police with their problems freely and the state government is constructing special rooms for them. He also added that women shall be protected from the social evil, but the law meant for the protection shall not be misused by them and the media shall help in establishing the law and order in the society.
ADG crime against women Anvesh Manglam informed that in the state the criminals accused in women related cases are facing strict action from the police. The police are also taking the help of forensic experts to convict the culprits, he added.
